About Brian Firth, Founder of Zip Yacht

Brian Firth is the founder of Zip Yacht, the Fort Lauderdale company building a crew of specialized AI agents for yachting. Under the tagline Connecting Yachting, he runs the business on systems he builds and operates himself.

Zip Yacht’s core product, ZipYacht Management, didn’t start as a product. It began as the live operating system for a working 100-ft Fort Lauderdale motor yacht, covering maintenance, machinery, inventory, projects, documents, estimates, invoices and crew. It became a product only after it had held up on a real boat every day. Brian’s rule for anything Zip Yacht ships: if it didn’t survive a working yacht, it doesn’t go out.

Around that system he built Zip Yacht’s AI crew. Each one is a purpose-built agent for a single corner of yachting: Molly for yacht management, Roger and Sammy for crew hiring and careers, Val for engineering, Ace for contractors, Janet for marine insurance, Allie and CP for charters, BillyJean for brokerage, Sally for the community, and Shelly – Zip Yacht’s Agentic Marketing Coordinator for marine businesses that need websites, chat and voice agents.
