Why do other yacht job boards charge?
Traditional boards like Yotspot monetize every side: crew pay for premium visibility (£30 per 3 months), employers pay by vessel size (£995–£5,995), and training providers pay to be listed. ZipYacht’s view is that crew shouldn’t have to pay to be seen and owners shouldn’t pay per boat to hire — so those things are free.
